Considered as a holy tank, Bindu Sagar is bordered by 7,000 temples including the Lingaraj temple. Thousands of people take dip every day before visiting the nearby temples.
One side of the lake has Ekamra Vana, an herbal garden developed by the forest department. For the other three sides, BMC has planned beautiful embankments and pathways with matching light sources made of laterite stone. Beautification will be in harmony with the original design.
